LANGLAND COVE GUESTHOUSE BREAKFASTS
From 8 until 10 each morning, our laid-back but luxurious breakfasts are served in our sunny breakfast room – and you are welcome to linger there over another pot of coffee and the morning papers. We are also happy to accommodate early risers keen to get out on the Coastal Path or into the surf. When you arrive in the breakfast room, you’ll find a buffet table with cereals including our own delicious granola, fresh fruit and compotes, yogurts, homemade breads for toasting, homemade jams and marmalade, fruit juice and milk. Our cooked breakfast menu is packed with choice – all freshly prepared to order and sourced locally wherever possible. With advance warning, we can cater for a range of specific dietary requirements from special children’s meals, vegan diets, dairy allergies and gluten intolerance to low sugar alternatives or fat-free options – we want everybody to start the day feeling satisfied and happy!

LANGLAND COVE GUESTHOUSE PICNICS AND PLATTERS
We don’t offer an evening meal but Mumbles Village, with all its pubs, bars and restaurants, is a ten minute walk away. We can recommend places to you on arrival, depending on your tastes.
If you prefer to stay in and relax, or perhaps are arriving too late to eat out, we can help: each room has a silent mini fridge and, on request, we will leave a light snack in your fridge ready for you to enjoy on arrival.
From £9 per person we offer platters including local Welsh cheeses, smoked salmon, mackerel and prawns, homemade quiches, charcuterie or vegetarian mezze (48 hours notice required) – feel free to bring your own wine (wine glasses & corkscrews supplied!).
- Local Cheese Platter for 2 – 3 local Welsh cheeses, homemade fruit chutney, oatcakes & butter
- Local Antipasti (charcuterie) for 2 – local salami, Mumbles pate, olives, sundried tomatoes, fresh crusty bread, butter
- Vegetarian mezze for 2 – homemade hummus, local Welsh cheese, crudites, olives, sundried tomatoes, fresh crusty bread, butter
- Smoked Organic Salmon, mackerel and prawns for 2 with fresh crusty bread & butter
- Homemade Quiche Platter for 2 – Homemade Quiche (can be vegetarian) with coleslaw and salad
- Ploughmans Platter for 2 – Pork pie, scotch egg, local welsh cheddar, coleslaw, fruit chutney, crunchy apple and crusty bread & butter
We also offer homemade Brownies for 2 – £5
Alternatively we can make these platters up as a packed lunch to take on walks, or a picnic for the beach. (48 hours notice required). Just speak to us when you make your booking to discuss your requirements. Our platters/picnics are £9 for 1 person (£18 for 2, £27 for 3 and £36 for 4). They must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
If you wish to bring in your own food or a takeaway to eat in the breakfast room we will provide you with plates and cutlery – please ask!
We are not licensed to sell alcohol but you are welcome to bring a bottle (or two) to enjoy in your room, or our breakfast room.
